Is this cute, or is this cute? I ask you. I inherited a pair of these sconces . . . and although I absolutely loved the things, the brass was a bit serious looking for my house. And this, of course, is yet another reason why you should always have odds and ends of paint cans lying about the house - so that when needs like this arise, you're ready to face the situation head on. I once painted a brass candelabra with a gorgeous blue enamel - and I wish to goodness I could remember what I did with that thing. Somewhere in the comings and goings between England and Idaho it got edited out of my life.Anyways, the brass didn't seem quite it. Brass and crystal sconces somehow suggest a home with gold tassels on pillows and a regular dusting schedule . . . and that, I'm awfully afraid, is not my home. The red seemed a better fit somehow. And I'll be honest - these just make me happy every time I look at them.

Love them!
how do you spray paint in the winter?
very pretty!
I love what you do with a can (or half) of spray paint. The stuff and I just never agree. I want it to go on this way and it insists on the contrary. Oh well! One day I suppose I'll learn. . . Three cheers to your neverending creativity!
