Primroses. I'm officially in the mood. Shall I tell you a terrible guilty secret? A bad deed that I commit every single year? I can't help it really . . . it just happens. As of December 26 I quit watering my poinsettias. Yes, I do that. I'm just not inspired anymore. I'm ready for them to go away. And I can't chuck out a perfectly healthy flower . . . it just seems wrong. (Why it seems ok to starve it into a terrible state of crunchy wilt and then throw it away I'm not sure.)Anyway, once the poinsettia is safely out of my life I always load up on primroses. I have a chicken feeder loaded with primroses on my dining room table at this very moment as a matter of fact. (Ok that sounds gross . . . I'll have to post a picture to vindicate myself. It's actually fairly cute.)
Another of my terrible guilty secrets is that I'm awful at getting thank you notes out in a timely fashion. Really, really bad at it. But it's a New Year, so here's to trying, right? And just in case you all are in the mood for primroses like I am, and also in the mood to try and write thank you notes, here's a free download for you!
Click here - then print on card stock, slice, fold, and you're off and away!

You'll need all those primroses if you are already itching for spring! We've just started winter here in MN and spring is a long way off! However, I would want to be done with the poinsettias too if I had any. Love the pretty thank you note design!
Nice! Thanks.
Thank-you notes...*ponders* yes, those need to happen. I seem to have two methods for writing them: 1. write them immediately, like, before I'm finished unwrapping the gift or 2. they are never, ever written. A happy medium betwixt the two rarely happens.
I am the exact same way. On Deceber 26th, I want to throw out the tree (I was actually pretty stoked to get to throw it out BEFORE our Christmas trip back home this year, 'cause it was dying anyway). I blame the mall for making me think of Christmas at the beginning of October, 'cause I don't remember being over it so quickly when I was younger...
I love, love, love it!! These are so cute, thank you!
I am also hoooorrible at timely thank yous. I have lists of people who I want to thank. I think about how thankful I am to them for their kindness, I feel guilty that I haven't communicated this thankfulness to them, and then, usually to heap coals on coals, they do it again, then I really feel horrible. And I also vow regularly to do away with this bad behavior of mine. I will darn it! I will get better at this! And these cute cards just might be the trick! And I now need to send one of them to you. : ) I probably owe you one already anyway. : )
didn't even do poinsettias this year!
Smashing note cards! So inspirational. Maybe once i print them i can actually write some.
